Use this Loan Repayment Calculator to determine the FMC (Fund Maintenance Contribution), Total Sum Repayable and Fortnightly Repayment required in Step Two in the loan application:  Statement of amount, purpose of loan and prior financial details

Step Two:

Fill in the first part of the RWTF Loan application form for Unit approval.

Step Three:

Once recommended, finalise personal details on the application form and send to your Chaplain for recommendation. After it is returned to you, sign electronically and submit to the RWTF

Applying for Group Life Insurance Scheme?

Use the online forms here, to join the RWTF Group Life Insurance (GLI) – Scheme. 

You must be SERCAT 6 or 7 and have completed initial training (1RTU / OTS / ADFA) or be a Reserve Aviator undertaking Continuous Full Time Service for at least 6 months

Note – access to loans is no longer dependent on GLI membership but GLI members are entitled to access the lowest available loan fees. Non- GLI member loans incur an additional 0.5% p.a. loan fee

Step Two:

Direct Debit Form

Set up a direct debit of $8.50 once every six paydays to pay your GLI membership fees:

  • Email =your @defence.gov.au email which helps RWTF staff to manage your membership.  Ezidebit will not email you.
  • Starting = date of the next available Thursday payday
  • Frequency = Quarterly by default and RWTF will amend to once every six paydays

Applying for a Hardship Grant?

Modest grants to Aviators (now including SERCAT 3 – 5 Reservists) may be considered in exceptional circumstances of financial hardship, typically involving sudden and unexpected expenses arising from natural disasters, bereavement, family medical issues and/or associated travel costs. Grants are considered where expenses cannot be met from other sources in the required timeframe. Support may also be available in some cases to former Aviators or their dependants.
