The RAAF Welfare Trust Fund is a not-for-profit organisation offering a simple, low cost loan approach solely for our Aviators.
Loans are available for serving Permanent Aviators on completion of initial recruit training (1RTU). Serving Reserve Aviators undertaking Continuous Full Time Service (CFTS) for at least 6 months are also eligible only for the period of the CFTS.

Contributors to the RWTF Group Life Insurance Scheme are eligible to apply for a Group Life Insurance loan of up to $5,500 for any worthwhile purpose.
A Home Improvement loan of up to $4,500 may be made to help Aviators build or buy a home or to furnish a home with new or second hand furniture.
A Long Service loan of up to $4,500 for any worthwhile purpose provided that the applicant has completed 10 years’ service in the Air Force.
Professional Development loans of up to $4,500 to assist Aviators with education/study expenses for training courses.
Emergency loans are normally available up to $1,000 to meet temporary circumstances such as emergency housekeeping expenses, family medical or dental expenses, pressing household bills or fares for travel on compassionate leave.
A Home Improvement loan of up to $4,500 may be made to help a member build or buy a home or to furnish a home with new or second hand furniture.
